This visit was funded through a collaborative effort with the Antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) program of the Radboud UMC, Nijmegen, the Netherlands, and Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) / Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS), Blantyre, Malawi.
The aim was to explore what has already been done in Malawi at QECH in terms of AMS, and identify gaps that could be addressed by the AMS program and SPICE (Specialized Program for Infectious diseases Care Everywhere) of Radboud UMC.
